My sweet man

I thought I would write a little about my sweet sweet boy Hudson. He is sweet, smart, and so so funny. He doesn't complain about all of the attention thats shifted towards his new sister or how much his life has changed. He loves his family with all his little heart. He talks about his family constantly, misses them when they are apart, prays for them, and lights up like its Christmas morning EVERY single time he gets to see them. He starts most sentences with "me", as in "Me don't like that". Whoever teaches him the word "I" will be in serious trouble with me!

He loves watching his favorite shows. I walked in the room and he was SOOOO into watching Team Umizoomi. I love his little posture and look on his face.

He has the best sense of humor in the world and loves to have fun. Right now he is OBSESSED with having anyone and everyone chase him around the house. He will say "Get me Daddy!" and run with all his might. He loves hide and seek, but gives himself away every single time. I mean he literally says "I'm in the kitchen!". He loves getting one of his Uncles to look for "snakes" with him. They look for them, run from them, and then eventually one of the Uncles will need to be the snake chasing him around going "sssssss".

He is so sweet it breaks my heart. If anyone is hurt he is right there trying to help them. He makes everyone feel like a million dollars.
He is two and a half years old and growing up before my eyes.

Us "Stay at Homes"

Me trying to do laundry and take care of my six week old at the same time. I would like to interview every stay at home Mom I know and ask them a million questions about how they do it all. How in the world do you take care of one kid 100% not to mention two or more kids, and on top of that manage to clean, cook, do laundry, get out of your pajamas once in a while, work on your relationship with your husband, spend time with family and friends....the list goes on. I just don't get it!

New Life

My last post was a year ago. So much has happened, so much has changed. We gave birth to our precious daughter Hope Lynne Bibb on January 7, and suddenly life has taken on a whole new direction. I've never been a perfect Mom, and figuring out how to take care of two kids has been no exception. Hope is six weeks old now, and has added so much to our lives already. She has the sweetest eyes that melt my heart completely. She loves to be held, and lights up when any amount of attention is given to her.

Hudson has grown up before my eyes. He is two and a half years old. He is sweet, compassionate, hilarious, and absolutely irresistible!

I didn't realized how hard it would be for me to give up my one on one time with my sweet little man. That has been the hardest part for me so far, and something I struggle with everyday. I miss that with all my heart and know he does too, but I also know that the relationship he and his sister are going to have someday will make this tough transition so worthwhile.

I've feeling thankful beyond words to have my Mom here during this special time in my life. Last July she discovered she had breast and kidney cancer, and I had to face my worst nightmare that I might lose my Mom. She was so brave, faced every obstacle head on, and is cancer free. I learned a lesson in taking people and life for granted; I hope I never lose sight of what's truly important. We named Hope in honor of my Mom.

Hope was born on January 7, the day my Grandmom lost her battle to cancer. I loved my Grandmom beyond words and still think about her and miss her every single day. It seemed so full circle and so special that my Grandmom sent me a little angel on the day she became one. This little necklace was my Grandmom's, and this picture will always mean so much to me.

I know we have lot's in store for our new little family!

Fun times with the fam!

We've had some really fun times with our families lately, and it makes me feel so thankful and grateful that Hudson is surrounded by such loving Grandparents, Great Grandparents, Uncles, and friends!

Mom and Dad came to visit and Hudson has so much fun showing off his new playroom, and spending time with them. It had been a month since they had seen him (and me!) so needless to say we were very happy to have them here!

(Hud is helping his Grandpa up the step at Ryan's~ so cute!)

Ryan had a fun house warming get together, and Mom and Dad got to meet Makenna Dady for the first time!

Watching the Game- what else?

Luke was putting the beer in the fridge and Hud jumped in and took over (such a little helper!)

Mom and Makenna

We had a fun birthday dinner for Kathy at our house and the highlight of the night was definitely watching Hudson w Colin's little puppy Jetta. He loved her so much, and wanted to hold her and carry her around everywhere. Precious!

Hud and I met Ryan and Luke for the Two Bro's BBQ cook-off at Sea World that they have every year. It was really fun, and made me so excited to really take Hudson to Sea World sometime soon!

Favorite Moments

I can't believe its already February! Here are some of my favorite moments from January with my boy...

This is what Hudson looks like everyday when he wakes up in the morning~ its the cutest thing I've ever seen. Little puffy eyes, bed head, it doesn't get better than that. I love this pic for capturing this memory bc I never want to forget it! Plus I get to show off the nice breakfast I made for him that morning!

Don't judge me. David Beckham wears his hair like this too which makes it ok. I know its time for a cut but I'm just not ready yet, getting closer though! I love this pic of my little naked man playing with his toy sitting next to his Tator Tot, and the hairdo is icing on the cake.

Walked in the kitchen one night and Hudson had discovered the bread in the pantry and decided to have a little party on the floor pigging out on it.

Love watching these boys spend time together, such buddies.

Cute Daddy, Cute Son.

We love our trips to the park! It's been so cold lately but we do everything we can to bundle up and stay warm so we can still go outside!

It took a while but I finally discovered where all the stay at home moms go when I ventured into chikfila one day w Hudson. It has become one of our favorite places to go. We go to the one at the Rim- the people that work there are so nice and helpful, its super clean, he can get a kids meal w 4 chicken nuggets, a fruit cup, juice box, and book for like $3, and its full of stay at home Mom's and their kids! Of course we end our meal w some serious playtime which Hud goes crazy for, and I like too bc it gets some good energy out so before we go home for naptime! He loves crawling up the slide and and sliding down it! Such a brave little man!

Hud's New Play Room!

I've been wanting to make an area for Hudson to play, learn, and do little crafts in and am so excited about the new play room I put together for him last week!

Hudson's New Play Room!!

He loves sitting at his little table by the window and looking at everything going on in the street. I'm very proud of my handy work putting together his toy bin, and love having my Grandmom's special words "have happy days" be a part of his little space.

He LOVES his tent and reading nook!

Hud's first introduction to playdoh, so fun! I turned around and he had taken a seat on Tate to drink his juice, priceless!
